SPECIAL DATES
There will be a STUDENT ORIENTATION on the first day of class, Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

There will be a CLOSING CEREMONY on the last day of class, August 20, 2024. Family, friends, and loved ones are welcome to attend the Closing Ceremony.

There are no required books for this training.

 You need to do 10 practice sessions.

They are due by October 20, 2024 - which is two months after the final day of class.

 It can be as short as 15-25 mins or as a long as a full session (up to 50 mins). Basically, your practice session needs to be long enough to practice the skill that you are interested in doing/exploring. But it does not have to be any longer than that — and it certainly does not have to be a “full session” in length.

Once you finish the practice session, have your practice client fill out an Evaluation Form. The form is an online Google Form that anyone can access with the link, so you will simply send the link to your practice client. Their form submission will register in our system and we will then have a record of you having completed your practice session. And you will receive credit towards your 10 practice session certificate requirement. 

While we encourage you to be in the role of “practice client” as much as you are able, the sessions in which you are the practice client do not themselves count towards your 10 session quota. Only the sessions in which you are in the role of therapist/coach/facilitator/etc. count towards your 10 session quota.

No. The practice session evaluations are anonymous and confidential. They are not directly shared with the person who is being evaluated.

However, at the end of each practice session we encourage the practice client and the person who was in the therapist / coach / facilitator role to debrief and share what the practice session was like for each of you. In this manner, both the practice client and the person in the therapist / coach / facilitator role might receive feedback on their work and continue to learn and grow in their process. Additionally, if we see significant patterns or areas of concern showing up in your work, we will reach out to you to help you course correct in your learning journey and process.
